Perhaps Pitt should work with Steelers on 45K seating plans for Heinz Field

It would be much less costly to come up with a 45K seating plan within Heinz Field that works than to build a new stadium. Five miles away is not that far really.

If they created a 45K seating plan within that stadium, they could tarp the other 30,000 seats. Perhaps they tarp the whole upper deck around the end zones and concentrate the people on the lower level and only around midfield on the sides, whatever makes up 45K seats.

This would help a lot. Don't leave all seats for sale in a stadium that is too big.

Pitt has a good relationship with the Steelers and could work this out. I think the Eagles are wanting to gouge Temple, so Temple needs to get out of the Linc.
